Brian’s current focus is on policy mechanisms in support of the decarbonisation and electrification of commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. Recent clients include Zemo Partnership, Transport & Environment and BSI. Brian played a key role in modelling the uptake of BEV vans and eHGVs as part of Zemo’s road-mapping work for the Welsh Government, was BSI’s Technical Author supporting the development of a code of practice for public eHGV charging infrastructure and authored T&E’s 2023 report “HGVs on the road to net zero”. Brian has almost four decades’ experience in transport policy, energy, fleet decarbonisation, sustainability and vehicle safety.
